Employee performance improvement is one of the core functions of the HR. Yes, the HR dept’s top priority is to help the company succeed – but the business can’t move forward if there aren’t competent and highly-driven employees, right?

Want to be promoted to a senior position?  If you want to move forward in your career but you’re unsure how, your HR can often help you map out the path toward your goal. They may help you see your weak and strong points so you could improve on them.

Quitting your job isn’t the only reason for refining your resume. You may also tweak your resume when applying for looking at an internal promotion, applying for professional society membership, or going to a graduate school. Your HR is the best person to seek with regards to making your resume marketable.
